Psatha dive site in Attica is a relaxed shore dive combining easy access, shallow wreck remains, and a full-day beach experience.
Dive Overview
Psatha is a calm and enjoyable dive site, ideal for combining scuba diving with swimming, food, and a full day by the sea.
The site is suitable for a wide range of divers thanks to its flexible depth profile and straightforward navigation. During summer, the beach becomes quite popular, so parking may be difficult later in the day. Autumn is often the best season to dive here, offering warmer water and fewer crowds.
Entry & Conditions
The beach is fully organized, with cafés, restaurants, and plenty of space for non-divers to enjoy the day.
Entry is from the right side of the beach near the rocks. After completing your buddy checks, swim a short distance offshore and descend.
Conditions are usually calm, making the site appropriate for relaxed recreational dives.
What You ‘ll See
Shortly after entering the water, you’ll encounter several submerged small boats along with the remains of a large wooden fishing boat resting at around 5–6 meters depth.
This shallow wreck area creates excellent photo opportunities, especially in natural sunlight.
Continue the dive with the shoreline on your right side. After a relatively steep slope, the seabed reaches depths of 15–20 meters, while deeper sections can be explored further along the route.
The dive follows the coastline toward the cape before returning along the same path.
Important Consideration
- Crowded beach during summer
- Boat activity possible near shore
- Depth increases quickly after slope
Depth Profile
The dive starts shallow and gradually descends from 5 meters to depths beyond 20 meters.
Tips for divers
Arrive early during summer months
Explore the shallow wreck remains before descending deeper
Follow the coastline for easy navigation
Adjust your depth profile according to your certification level
Turn the dive based on air consumption and planned bottom time
